2023 STAR PIECE & WINNER
This year’s winner was Mandy Holloway from Bedfordshire who voted for a beautiful 18 carat gold hinged pendant necklace with tourmaline and aquamarine by jeweller Jinks McGrath.
Jinks designs and handcrafts bespoke pieces in high carat gold, silver and precious gemstones. She draws her inspiration from the designs of English Medieval jewellery and the splendour of Moghul treasures. From her workshop Jinks also runs an annual program of jewellery courses and has authored several books on jewellery-making for students. Jinks shares her expertise with charitable organisation in establishing jewellery workshops and jewellery training programs around the world, including Thailand, Nepal, Jordan and Myanmar.
