I grew up in the island of Rhodes in Greece and both my parents were jewellers. I love jewellery with a passion because it is deeply personal to the person that wears it, carrying memories and important moments like no other form of art. I finished my studies in Mokume Art School of Thessaloniki and I opened my first workshop in 1989. I moved to London in 1999, and have lived and worked in the UK since then.
I use traditional hand-made techniques and recently I try to combine them with the latest developments in 3D printing and casting. I work with 18k green gold and sterling silver with a wide variety of precious and semi-precious stones as colour is in the heart of all my creations. I try to ensure my creations are timeless and yet playful . My pieces which are mostly one-offs, develop year after year and I try to echo in them all my diverse interests from abstract paintings to old civilisation, and from fashion to modern architecture.
