As a jeweller and silversmith I’m interested in combining the traditional hand skills of jewellery making and silversmithing with modern digital processes. In my current practice I use 3D computer software to design work with faceted geometric surfaces. I manipulate the digital surfaces to design silverware as well as jewellery collections. By using rapid prototyping and computer numerically controlled (CNC) milling with press forming and casting I am able to realise these objects in precious metals.
After graduating from the Royal College of Art I set up my studio in Edinburgh where I currently work designing and making jewellery and silverware for exhibitions and commissions.
