Danila Tarcinale FIPG MNGG, BA (Hons) is a Central Saint Martins class of 98, Multi Award Winning Jewellery Designer and maker, who specialises in Wax carving. She has co-written with Russell Lownsbrough FIPG a book on “Wax Carving for Jewellers’. She is also a Pioneer in Jewellery for Body Piercing in 18 carat gold since 1992. her jewellery is sold in the UK, Europe and US.
Danila creates engagement and wedding rings as well as unusual Bespoke pieces. Her inspirations range from Victorian Jewellery, Taxidermy, antique fine jewellery, childhood memories all combined with her Italian upbringing and sense of aesthetics. Her collections of Fine Jewellery are created in 18 carat gold, silver, precious and semi-precious stones and diamonds.
Danila has worked for top jewellery and fashion designers (Vivienne Westwood, Thierry Mugler, Solange Azagury-Partridge, Lara Bohinc, Paul and Joe) cutting edge fine artists (Raquib Shaw, Damien Hirst), MP’s, models, rock and sports stars and chefs. Her work has been exhibited in Britain and abroad and has appeared on TV, theatre shows as well as in magazines and music videos. You can also find one of her pieces in the British Museum.
