My work is principally inspired by science and nature, having drawn from my background as a biochemistry graduate, taking strong geometric forms and reinterpreting them in bold and colourful jewellery. A specialism of mine has been to combine gold with coloured titanium and exciting and unusual gemstones, which has required the development of pioneering innovative techniques.
Previous work has utilised DNA sequencing techniques to create a platinum pendant set with gemstones representing the wearer’s own genetic code. My latest pieces are inspired by the Large Hadron Particle Accelerator at CERN in Switzerland where atoms are split into a range of mysterious sub-atomic particles in dramatic explosions.

The development of specialist techniques for the gem-setting and colouring of titanium has led to several accolades including being awarded UK Jewellery Designer Of The Year 2017. This unconventional metal, although ultra light and strong is famously difficult to master, has provided me with many exciting and rewarding design and construction challenges.
Having started my jewellery career at the age of 18, I have worked as both an independent designer and a trade jewellery craftsman for many high end jewellery houses, before establishing my own atelier in Duke Street, London where all my pieces are made in the onsite workshop and where I also undertake bespoke commissions.
