Thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to our North Star Competition 2020 winners!

Following our online North Star Competition we are pleased to announce that this year’s Star Piece is Victoria Walker’s beautiful Dog Rose Locket won by Emma Myers from Cambridgeshire. Congratulations, Emma!

Victoria designs kinetic jewellery, inspired by the beauty of seed pods and flowers. Her signature botanical lockets feature miniature articulated flowers that gently emerge and unfold from within. Victoria works from her workshop in Princes House, a beautiful Georgian mansion house in the heart of Truro, Cornwall. We would like to thank everyone who entered this year’s competition and all the makers who took part. We look forward to bringing everyone together next summer for a wonderful Fair in the Cutlers’ Hall in Sheffield.

We will be running the North Star Competition again during Goldsmiths North 2021 so watch this space to be in with a chance of winning a piece by your favourite maker.

This year’s North Star competition was kindly sponsored by The Pearson Silver Collection. Widely regarded as the largest of its kind in private hands, the collection represents the story of British silversmithing from the end of World War II to the present day.
