Tiago Jewellery

With 38 years experience in the jewellery trade including repairs, manufacture, stone setting, figurine sculpting and CAD/CAM, TIAGO jewellery undertakes commissions of fine jewellery and gemstone mounting.

Mounting ethically sourced gemstones or remounting sentimental stones and remodelling of existing jewellery, traditional and vintage styles through to modern contemporary utilising traditional hand skills, modern CAD/CAM and 3d printing.

Starting in 1986 undertaking general repairs and ring sizing, moving onto to a Derbyshire based manufacturer of stone inlay jewellery, developing new product and manufacturing for national retailers including Asprey, Garrards and Harrods. 

After 14years experience i moved to a full time product development team in Leeds to become a full time model maker, making the prototypes to be sent to manufacturing facilities. Hand making a full range of gem set jewellery low, medium and high price points. After the introduction of CAD/CAM 20 years ago we as a team were focussed on sculpting figurines etc making licensed characters, samurai warriors, F1 cars, animals etc. 

Having been made redundant in 2008 i started my own business TIAGO, located in Kelham island premises,  it was the beginning of the 2008 recession so i accepted a role in a Nottingham independent store to ease the pressure while starting a luxury jewellery brand, here i trained on the CAD/CAM , and handled the city centre stores consultations and bespoke creations.

In 2015 I moved my business premises into a larger site and opened the retail shop with my workshop fully on view from the store and the roadside.

Since 2015 we have won “i do” magazines wedding jeweller for Yorkshire and East Midlands 5 times, based on customer feedback, a proud achievement.

Today we are known as the go to place for bespoke design and manufacture, and the more challenging repairs.
