Rosita Bonita, by designer Rowenna Harrison, creates show-stopping hand-crafted jewellery inspired by escapism; the imagined glamour of past times & faraway lands.

Fusing innovation & tradition, hand-whittled waxes are brought to life in precious metals, drawings are laser-etched on mother of pearl, then embellished with carefully selected gemstones in soft colour palettes reminiscent of Tropical Deco Architecture & technicolour movies.

These evocative pieces are infused with influences from across design history, from the stripped-back elegance of Art Deco to the lavish costuming of Hollywood’s Golden Age, with details absorbed from print graphics, fashion, architecture & interior design, as well as from the natural world.

The collections feature motifs of flora & fauna, celebrating their intrinsic beauty whilst indulging a fascination for the folklore woven around them – exploring the universal human need to tell tales to make sense of the world, and to connect us to it.

Whilst previously know for designing & making jewellery in leather, Rosita launched her first collection in precious metals in 2022, and continues to explore the possibilities of fine materials.
All pieces are hand-crafted in her Margate studio.
