Naomi Tracz’s work has a minimal aesthetic with simple, clean lines and a quiet beauty. She enjoys working with simple shapes like the teardrop or the marquise which she simplifies to create elegant jewels which are a pleasure to wear. Naomi loves unusual, characterful gems, particularly in combinations which complement each other and create a harmonious whole which is greater than its parts.
Naomi originally studied photography at Brighton University, after a brief spell working as a photographer, she spent a few years working as a website manager. Her journey into jewellery making started during this time with evening classes, she quickly fell in love with it and carried on taking part time classes, eventually doing a City and Guilds at City Lit. Naomi employs traditional fabrication techniques as well as wax carving and casting to create her pieces.
Naomi’s design emphasis is on simple, wearable, timeless pieces of jewellery that can be worn and loved every day and then handed down to the next generation. All her work is solid sterling silver, solid 18ct gold or a combination of the two.
