Morvarid Alavifard, an Iranian silversmith whose work is related to the body and metal drawing inspiration from her identity and culture. Following a BA in Jewellery and Objects from Birmingham City University and an MA Jewellery and Metal at Royal College of Art she progressed to Bishopsland Educational Trust and won the Jane Goodman Award. Morvarid creates intricate and interactive artworks and jewellery from fine metal.
