The unique signature of my work is my use of colour, composition, and asymmetry. Gemstone and metal have equal importance in my designs, combinations of tone, opacity and cut partner bold handcrafted forms in blackened silver and yellow gold. My approach to gemstones focuses on their natural qualities beyond calibrated standards of value. Combined with my affinity with colour, this allows me to create beautiful and unique combinations with strong individuality.
I create all elements of my work using recycled mixed metals and employing traditional techniques, striving for a sleek and minimal finish whilst retaining the soul that handcrafting offers. I established my own workshop in 2002 at Cockpit Arts in Deptford and completed my jewellery training at Birmingham School of Jewellery and Central St Martins.
