Kinley jewellery is handmade by Laura Williams. Based in rural Oxfordshire, she creates distinctive jewellery using sterling silver and 18 carat gold. Her signature Grid collection showcases her award-winning wire technique. Inspired by the concept of a bed of nails, she sculpts wires, filing the ends to create new surfaces, textures and patterns.
Laura’s work explores contrasts – between the modern and the traditional, the rigid and the organic, form and lightness, finish and colour. The interplay of light on the wire ends brings each piece to life and organic forms emerge from the underlying structured grid patterns.
