Based in Jersey, Kerry Lawrence of KJL Enamel is a specialist in vitreous enamelling – a craft she brings to life on larger silver forms. Her work includes vibrant, functional artworks, like enamelled cups, beakers, spirit measures and perfume atomisers.
Inspired by artists like David Hockney and favouring bold colours and imagery, Kerry treats each silver object as a unique canvas. Using traditional methods such as basse taille, champleve and cloisonne, she layers transparent and opaque enamels to create richly textured surfaces fill of energy and movement.
From her studio in the Channels Islands, Kerry’s passion for combining function with beauty is clear in every piece. Her enamel work isn’t just decorative – it’s a celebration of colour, craftsmanship and contemporary design.
