Mr Sherwood is my creative home—a place where high-contemporary jewellery meets the depth and discipline of traditional craftsmanship. Growing up between England and Trinidad and Tobago, I’ve always been inspired by the contrast and harmony of different cultures, and that duality sits at the heart of my work. I’m drawn to clean geometry, sculptural forms, and pieces that feel bold yet refined.
My journey began at Central Saint Martins and continued under the guidance of a former Cartier diamond mounter in Mayfair. Those early years shaped my respect for precision and technique, while later experiences with Graff Diamonds International, Garrard London, and Stephen Webster pushed my design language into more expressive territory. In 2016, I stepped out on my own and built a practice that brings together classical hand skills with modern 3D artistry.
Today, from my boutique workshop in London, I create jewellery that aims to challenge expectations without losing sight of craftsmanship. Whether I’m working on a high-jewellery piece or a sculptural design for my menswear collections, I focus on proportion, structure, and the story a piece can carry. I love integrating gemstones in ways that feel unexpected, and I often add a subtle touch of humour—an inside wink for the wearer.
Although the brand is still young, I’ve had the privilege of showing my work at Goldsmiths’ Fair and Goldsmiths North, and contributing to the industry through teaching, judging, and advisory roles.
At its core, Mr Sherwood is about creating pieces that feel personal, distinctive, and enduring. Jewellery should make you feel something—confidence, curiosity, connection. My aim is to craft work that becomes part of someone’s life, not just their collection.
