I am a contemporary jeweller influenced by pre-Colombian jewellery and textures as well as by nature and its varied forms. I use fine silver and gold wire to hand weave shapes that resemble nests, and moulds and lost wax casting to capture natural textures and create components. Often combined with varied gemstones, these become harmonic abstract pieces of jewellery that inspire the viewer to develop their own interpretations and treasure personal pieces.
As I environmentalist by training and by heart I aim to be an ethical jeweller business. To achieve this I use Fairtrade gold as much as possible and by recycling gold, silver, and ethically sourced gemstones. I am also investing in recycling, with my packing being entirely from recycled and/or recyclable materials and focus on high-quality packaging to motivate the customer to keep their jewellery.
