Angela Benjamin

Ange is a jewellery artist, from London, UK.
Originally trained as a physiotherapist, she integrates
her understanding of anatomy into her
sculptural, geometric designs with emphasis on celebrating the asymmetrical nature of the human body.

She draws inspiration from the modern architecture and urban landscapes the shaped her surroundings growing up in West London, in particular the brutalist buildings that reflect the emergence of London’s social housing and cultural centres.

Her work is distinguished by an instinctual approach
to structure, emphasizing dynamic connections
between her chosen materials. She constructs her signature
asymmetric geometric forms using repurposed silver,
gold, and, more recently, reclaimed wood. She combines them in ways that play with the ideas of architectural scale and negative space.

Each piece is designed to engage the wearer, sitting on the body in a way that encourages interaction and curiosity.
