As a Silversmith I enjoy the challenge of designing and making silverware that is both functional and visually stimulating. 2026 will mark 50 years since I started at the School of Jewellery and Silversmithing in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham and 40 years of being a self-employed silversmith.
Every new design brief, or commission brings a different challenge and it is this that has made my time working at the bench so enjoyable. My work, which has varied over the years can be seen in Royal Palaces, Livery Halls, Churches, Private Collections and at many sporting events at home and abroad.
